Patient Resources

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since 1966, when designers at Letraset and James Mosley, the librarian at St Bride Printing Library in London, took a 1914 Cicero translation and scrambled it to make dummy text for Letraset’s Body Type sheets. It has survived not only many decades, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised thanks to these sheets and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker and Microsoft Word including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

The End-to-End Patient Experience

A walk-through of how a new patient moves from a Google search to an enrolled, supported member and how every operational step maps to the technology stack above. The same flow applies to Reset Program participants and concierge members; the differences are in pacing, depth, and what is included.

1. Discovery

A prospective patient finds Banville Health through one of three channels: a Google search for men’s or women’s hormone or perimenopause care; a referral from a partner clinic, gym, or fellow provider; or the Banville Health Journal on Substack. Every entry point routes to the marketing website at banvillehealth.com.

2. Exploration

Individuals read the About, Approach, Services, and Membership pages. They understands what the practice does, who it is for, and what care here actually costs. If the individual is not yet ready to book, he/she may subscribe to the Journal — Substack captures her email and begins the long-form nurture sequence. Most patients return to book within 30–90 days of their first site visit.

3. Booking

When the patient is ready, he/she clicks “Book a Discovery Consultation” on the website. This opens Practice Better’s hosted scheduling widget, embedded directly into the membership and contact pages. He/she selects a 60-minute slot with Dr. Banville (telehealth or in-person), enters basic contact information, completes a short pre-visit intake form, and pays the $400 fee through Stripe at the time of booking. The fee is fully credited toward enrollment if he/she continues.

4. Pre-Visit

Practice Better automatically sends a confirmation email, intake forms (Living Younger assessments imported as templates), and prep instructions. The patient completes the intake forms digitally inside hi/her client portal. He/she receives reminder emails 48 hours and 2 hours before the visit. For telehealth visits, the join link is in her portal and hi/her email.

5. The Visit – first visit ~2 hours, F/U 30 min

For telehealth visits, the patient clicks the link in his/her portal and joins Practice Better’s HIPAA-compliant video room from any device – no app required.

For in-person visits, he/she arrives at the executive suite. Dr. Banville charts the visit directly inside Practice Better as it happens: history, DX/assessment, treatment plan. The plan can include lab orders, prescriptions, supplement protocols, and recommended follow-up – all generated and delivered from a single screen.

6. Treatment Plan Delivery

Within hours of the visit, the patients receive their treatment plan in their portal. The plan typically contains:

  • Recommendations: lifestyle, nutrition, sleep, movement protocols (drawn from imported Living Younger content as a starting library, customized to the patient)
  • Lab orders: sent direct to Quest, Labcorp, DUTCH, or whichever partner is appropriate. The patient pays through their portal; results return to their chart for Dr. Banville’s review
  • Prescriptions: e-prescribed via DoseSpot inside Practice Better, sent directly to the patient’s pharmacy
  • Supplement protocols: linked to a Fullscript dispensary cart preloaded with the recommended products. The patient one-clicks to order; supplements ship to hi/her door; the practice earns the dispensing margin
  • Patient education: relevant Living Younger education modules attached to the plan as PDFs and audio files
7. Enrollment & Payment

If the Discovery Consultation converts to enrollment, Practice Better processes the membership payment through Stripe as a one-time payment for Reset ($2,499), $9,000 for a yearly membership, or as indicated on the Ad-On Services. The Discovery o Consultaion fee is automatically credited. The patient receives a welcome packet, signs the patient agreement and HIPAA acknowledgments digitally, and is set up with full portal access.

8. Ongoing Care (Members)

After enrollment, Practice Better is the patient’s home for the relationship:

  • Schedule visits any time through the portal — telehealth or in-person
  • Send secure messages for between-visit questions; tier-appropriate response times are visible in the portal
  • View lab results as they return, with Dr. Banville’s annotations
  • Re-order supplements through the linked Fullscript cart
  • Access program materials (Reset Program participants see their structured 12-week journey; weight management patients see their program timeline)
  • View invoicing and payment history; pay any add-on charges with one click
9. Add-On Purchases

À la carte services – additional lab panels, peptide protocols, weight management programs, partner consultations — are billed through Practice Better as either packages (which time-bound the service) or individual line items. The patient sees a clean invoice in her portal, pays through Stripe, and the service unlocks automatically. Supplements run on a separate, simpler track through Fullscript.

10. Renewal

Sixty days before annual renewal, Practice Better sends an automated reminder; thirty days before, Dr. Banville schedules a renewal review visit. Members can renew with a single click in the portal. Annual prepayment runs through Stripe automatically if the member has chosen auto-renew.

Where the Website Fits in the Flow

The marketing website is the front door — and only the front door. It is responsible for SEO, brand, conversion, and routing the patient into the practice platform. Once the patient has booked, every subsequent interaction happens inside Practice Better’s portal. The website carries a “Member Login” link in the header that opens the Practice Better portal in a new tab; existing members bookmark that link directly. The Banville Health Journal lives on Substack and is linked from the website but operates as its own audience-building channel.
